Funding & Strategy

Startup reimbursement: Up to $500 first year

Grant funding: Up to $5,000/term

Pizza Rule: ≤20 people → OK to purchase commercially. >20 people → Must use SAIT's contracted provider.

Zero undocumented spending. Always tie expense to academic value.

About MET-D Club

The MET-D Club provides weekly academic support, deliverable planning, and collaborative problem-solving for Mechanical Engineering Technology students in Group D. Our sessions help reduce stress, improve assignment outcomes, and strengthen cohort connections.

Each week we:

  • review upcoming deliverables
  • work through difficult questions together
  • share study strategies and resources
  • complete work during a structured time block
  • socialize and build team skills

Members may also:

  • vote on club actions and spending
  • review finances for full transparency
